Welcome to Rocky Mountain Pediatric Endocrinology
Pediatric endocrinology is a specialty that focuses on hormone disorders in children. We treat all endocrine conditions including disorders of growth, puberty, diabetes, thyroid gland, adrenal gland, and calcium. We are also extensively involved in clinical research including multiple phase 3 and phase 4 trials in long-acting growth hormone therapy and a phase 4 trial in the metabolic bone disease hypophosphatasia. In addition to outpatient clinic visits, RMPE also sees inpatients at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children and Swedish Hospital.
We are clinical preceptors for physician assistant students at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Since 2016 in partnership with the Colorado Department of Public Health, RMPE provides the initial consultation for all babies in Colorado and Wyoming with an abnormal newborn screen in congenital hypothyroidism. We offer Saturday hours, and we also speak Spanish, German, Japanese, and Greek.
Dr. Maniatis was voted to 5280 Magazine’s Top Doctor list for pediatric endocrinology annually from 2016 to 2022. Click here to view.
